Traditionally some Native Americans fast before harvesting the sagebrush for rituals. I’ve read that the fall is the best time for bundling and drying it - right after it has flowered. In the fall I’m going to ask my mother-in-law if she will snip some and bundle it for me so I can use the good-vibrations plant from their lovely property to boost some of my supportive infusions. And I might even try to make an essential oil from it. But, like all things, one thing at a time.
